Vadodara: After many delays, the Faculty of Technology and MS Technical University (FTE) will eventually accredit its program from the National Accreditation Council (NBA).
Although it is not mandatory, for unknown reasons, the faculty does not make any efforts, get an accredited course of the NBA so far.
Not only private and university colleges, even granting technique universities have received their accredited program from the NBA which was originally founded by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct periodic evaluations of technical institutions and programs based on the Standards recommended by the AICTE board.
“We have started the process of seeking NBA accreditation for our mechanical BA, become a civil computer program and become a computer.
After, we covered three programs, we will move forward to get our other accredited program.
My program can be accredited only after the program becomes accreditation So initially, our focus is to get all accredited programs, “said Professor Dean FTE CN Murthy.
Like the accreditation process (NAAC), which accredit the university as a whole, the NBA accepted the program and not a department that offers programs.
“We hope to get NBA accreditation this year,” Murthy said, adding accreditation would also assist in seeking central government funds while the entire profile of the faculty would also increase with an increase in the number of PhDs and MES.
