Fuel Prices Soar: Delhi Cong Question Silence CM

New Delhi: Delhi Congress President Anil Kumar on Saturday wrote to the Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal, demanding a reduction in value added tax (PPN) at fuel prices in the city.

In Delhi, the price of gasoline rose to Rs 100.91 per liter and diesel to Rs 89.88 per liter on Saturday.
Fuel prices are different from state to state depending on local tax events such as VAT and shipping costs.
55 percent of the retail price of gasoline in Delhi consisted of tax (RS 32.90 Customs liters collected by the central government and RS 28.80 PPN was collected by the state government).
Half of the diesel price consisted of tax (RS 31.80 Central Excise and RS 13.04 PPN state).
