LONDON: British Fulham Championship Club on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Marco Silva as their new manager.
Former Hull, Watford and Everton Silva boss, 43, has signed a three-year contract to replace Scott Parker, who left Craven Cottage on Monday to become Bournemouth boss.
Fulham was derived from the Premier League last season after finishing in 18th, 11 points adrift of salvation.
“The club was happy to announce the appointment of Marco Silva as our new head coach,” said the club in a statement.
“Silva has agreed to a three-year deal with Fulham, keeping it in Craven Cottage until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.” Silva said: “I am happy to start and order me for our fans before this big challenge is that we will all work very hard to be successful so they can feel proud at the end of the season.”
