Fully vaxxed 5 months ago, Gurugram Man Dies of Covid

GURUGRAM: A man of 71 years who were treated at a private hospital with Covid died on Sunday, the first fatality associated with infection in Gurugram since August 24.
He is fully vaccinated and have been taking a second shot of Covishield about five months ago.

The 71-year-old was then intubated and put on a mechanical ventilator when conditions deteriorate.
On Sunday, he suffered a heart attack.
Doctors say they are trying to revive him, but could not.
“He has taken a second dose of Covishield on June 21.
Two members of his family have also been tested positive with him on another 3.

Yadav insisted that following security protocol is the only way to prevent another wave.
“People need to take all precautions to prevent the spread of infection.
In the wake of the wedding season and the beginning of winter, there is a possibility that the case may go up again.
That is all the more important for people to wear masks and keep a social distance, “he added.
Doctors at several hospitals said they had been advised monoclonal antibody drugs in the OPDS.
“The Covid scenario is looking grim.
We get 2-3 new patients every day this month, “said Dr Sushila Kataria, an intensive care specialist at Medanta-The Medicity.
