Funds are collected to gift homes for less capable students

Mangaluru: Moved by the fate of a middle school student from the backward community who lives in the hut and chasing his studies, Putture Beo roamed the donor, to get a house built for the girl’s family.
The construction of houses was completed within 47 days, and was handed over to the family on Saturday, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
This house is located in Irde-Bettampady, a small village in Puture Taluk.
In July, when the Government Middle School, Principal of Irde-Uppaligige K Narayan visited Mokshitha’s house as part of the initiative of ‘Vidyarthi Mane Man Beti’, he saw students living in a hay hut, covered with tarpaulin to protect from the rain.
Mokshitha’s house, class X students, and Kamala daughter and late braids, have no electricity.
His father died eight years ago, and Mother rolled Bedis and worked as a daily wage worker to meet needs.
“Narayan shares with me detail about the fate of students.
We started looking for a solution to this problem, so students get a permanent roof above his head.
We contacted many of the same-minded donors and they easily agree to help,” said C Lokesh, Beo, Putture.
He said that sponsors for homes including philanthropics and associations.
The foundation for the house was placed on August 15, and finished in 47 days.
This house is spread in 570 square feet, and has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a veranda.
Rotary Yuva Putture has advanced to build a small room for the family.
“This initiative is an inspiration for many people to do good for others in a small way,” said Ravindra Nelyapi, a retired teacher who is part of the project.
Narayan’s headmaster said that Mokshitha aims to clear the SSLC examination with a difference.
Mla Sanjeeva’s Putture Mla Sanjeeva inaugurated the house and handed it to the family.
