The minister told the Chancellor representative all the central universities that “you have autonomy about how to do this.
It’s up to you how you will launch it.
Next year, everyone must decide on their own process on this subject”.
However, the Ministry of Education said that even because the process takes time, the system must be displayed.
Minister of Education Union also held a meeting with the Chancellor representative of all central universities about this.
In many universities, it has been decided to introduce a 4-year undergraduate program from the next academic session.
At the same time, the process of making decisions about this happens in many other universities.
Universities where it has been decided to implement a 4-year undergraduate course including Delhi University.
Member of the Executive Board of Delhi Ashok Aggarwal said that he had submitted his protest at Fyup.
According to Aggarwal, regardless of the opposition, the majority support fyup.
Therefore, it has been decided to implement it at Delhi University from next year.
The Fixed Committee of the University of Delhi about academics has passed the agenda in the implementation of a four-year scholar (Fyup) program from 2022-23, despite protests and disagreements.
In this case, Abha Dev Habib, Treasurer of ‘Duta’, the official teacher organization at Delhi University, said that Fyup 2013 experiences showed that students had rejected the idea of additional expenditure for the fourth year.
