Rome: The Summit of the G20 leaders scheduled in Rome at the end of this month will focus on the war against climate change, Coronavirus and the steps needed for global recovery after the Pandemic, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said on Wednesday.
“Without the largest economic involvement in the world, we will not be able to comply with the Paris Agreement and limit global warming,” said Draghi to the Senate in comment ahead of the European Council meeting this week.
The Rome Summit is seen as very important because it comes right before the COP26 UN climate change conference will be held at Glasgow, Scotland, where the position of the G20 countries will be critical.
