Nagpur: While overall forest cover in Maharashtra has risen 30 square kilometers, Chandrapur’s wooded district and Gadchiroli have lost an area of more than 14 square kilometers and 4 square kilometers.
Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Bhandara and Washim Regency as a whole loss of forest areas of 21.44 square kilometers.
