New Delhi: Delhi Drug Control Department has told the Delhi High Court that he had demanded Foundation and AAP MLAs Gautam Gambhir and Praveen Kumar Imran Hussain for allegedly storing and distributing drugs illegally covid during the second wave.

Section 18 (c) prohibits the manufacture, sale and distribution of drugs without a license and section 27 (b) (ii) making the sale, distribution without a valid license can be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not less than three years and a fine.
Prosecution against Kumar is for similar offenses under the Medicines Act and Cosmetics, according to the response filed by the Department.
Cases have been filed in the Court of Justice, after giving people / entities have the opportunity to submit their explanations, he said.
The controller added that sales license dealers and retailers who sell tablet Favipiravir, drug covip-19, and the medical oxygen to the Foundation Gautam Gambhir’s run medical camps have also been suspended for 10 days for violating the law.
Hussain, who allegedly storing and distributing medical oxygen without holding the license required under the law, is also facing prosecution of a similar offense.
