Mumbai: The civil court in Mumbai on Monday gave temporary assistance to the actor Salman Khan against the online game parody, “Selmon Bhoi”.
The court has ordered a temporary restraints on access to games allegedly based on 2002 accidents involving actors.
Lawyer Khan Pradeep Gandhy, Parag Khandhar and Prachi Garg have transferred the request against the Parody Company Studios Pvt Ltd and the director said “game developers intentionally obtain commercial benefits by exploiting the personality rights of our clients without seeking our client’s approval.” It was found that the name of the game and picture, prime facie, fits the identity of Khan.
The court also noted that it was also the prime facie found to offend the hit-and-run case involving actors.
