Mangaluru: Vandal allegedly damaged the steps and walls of Ganapathi Katte in Udane at the Uppinangady police station limit.
Balakrishna Gowda, President, Udane Ganeshotsava Samiti, told the police that the incident took place between 5:30 a.m.
on Friday and 8 am on Saturday, after the destroyer entered Parashurama Maidan Udane, and damaged Ganapathi Katte.
The police said the incident occurred after Ganapati Visarjan.
Cases have been registered and active investigations.
