Hyderabad: Hyderabad police have deployed 27,000 police to ensure security during the Imperi Ganesh on Sunday.
At a press conference on Sunday, Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar said that all necessary settings have been made for the smooth flow of traffic on Sundays.
CP said that thousands of worshipers were estimated near Hussainsagar on Sunday.
Officials said that more than 20,000 idols over four feet and thousands of smaller idols were expected to be immersed on Sundays.
The famous Khairatabad Ganesh will set up at 2:00 p.m.
on Sunday.
There are 32 immersion points.
The Ganesh idol has been divided into two categories, which is above 10 feet and under 10 feet.
“Bar coded stickers have been submitted to the Ganesh Pandal Organizers to help prophecate idols.
Also, the organizers of the pandal must immerse idols in soaking points based on idol heights,” said Anjani Kumar.
This year, despite the soaking point on Tank Bund and Marg Marg, GHMC officials and police have made arrangements at the People’s Plaza for Idol Immersion.
The small pool has also been arranged.
Wine shops and bars will be closed from 6 am on Sunday to 6 pm on Monday.
