Nagpur: Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandals has supported Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) Dictate of Blanket forbade idols on the lake.
While some mandals say that they will follow new rules, others state that NMC must make alternative arrangements on the mine left outside of the city limits.

“If we get a nod, we will definitely immerse idols there.
But if asked, we will go for artificial tanks,” he said.
Nilesh Raut layout Bhende Ganeshotsav Mandal said the appropriate NMC decision.
“NMC and the state government have placed the limitation of altitude due to a pandemic.
So the idol will set it in an artificial pool.
However, what if there will be no limit to idol heights?” Raut said.
He suggested NMC to identify the abandoned mine (there are many) outside the city limits that can be used every year for idol immersion.
However, it is very important for NMC to make alternative arrangements, said Mands organizers.
