Palanpur: The gang of thieves has adopted a unique ritual before carrying out robbery.
The gang member appeared ‘Puja’ in the place they would be inaugurated looking for God’s blessings.
This gang has recently targeted two shops in Shamlaji City in the Aravalli district and closed with RS 25,000 in cash.
According to the police, members of the gang do puja with incense lighting and lights as if looking for God’s blessings before stealing cash.
They target two shops beside the doctor’s clinic during WEE Thursday.
One of the shops targeted by the gang is a gopal general store located in Sitaram Complex, while the second is Leena Photo Studio.
Traders in Shamlaji have asked the police to increase the patrol of the night after the incident recently.
The police said that they would immediately catch this ‘religious’ gang.
