Greater Noida: Four men allegedly friends with a rented accountant on the Gay dating application, calling him to the Sanda roundabout and seizing his car, iPhone 11, cash and documents in Gunpoint.
All the defendants were arrested late on Thursday night.
The police said the people both targeted two stylish Godmen.
The four defendants have been identified as Ashish, Sachin, Gaurav and Sagar.
According to the police, on July 31, Ashish was friends with a 27-year-old man who lives in the MU II Dadri sector – on Blued, the Gay dating application.
Both of them chat for about three hours.
“Ashish often uses a Sachin phone to chat with his target.
He asked the victim to come to the Sanda roundabout to meet him.
However, when CA reached the place, the defendant attacked him and looted him in Gunpoint,” said Kasna Sudhir Kumar station.
CA filed a complaint at Kasna Police Station accused the men asking him to step out of his white Alto and steal his phone and wallet which contained Rs 6,000, debit cards and credit cards, PAN cards and aadhaar cards.
After being investigated, the police found that the defendant would pretend to be a gay application user and trap.
“After a booty at Greater Noida, they went to Mathura and looted ‘Godman’ in the same way,” Kumar said, adding Godman’s own stylish child in Rajasthan Mehndipur Balaji was also robbed.
While Ashish and Sachin were arrested after a shootout near the service road that led to Dadha Village, Gaurav and Sagar were caught while combing the area.
Car Ca, iPhone, and other items, and three other cellphones, recover from them.
While Ashish has five more cases, including efforts to kill, loot, and other people under acting, against it, Sachin has a case of ACTS arms put forward against him and Gaurav face the theft case.
