Ghaziabad: Gang Snatchers was arrested by the arrest of four members of Indirapuram on Sunday.
Police have restored Jewelry worth Rs 10 Lakh, RS 900 cash and two motorbikes used in their crimes from their ownership.
“Based on interrogation, some other gang members have also been identified.
We look into their criminal history and more arrests are expected immediately,” said a police officer.
According to the police, the people arrested were identified as Manoj, Ajay, Sanjay Sharma, and were Delhi residents.
They used to sell stolen jewelry to the fourth accused in this case, Ramesh Verma, a jewelry shop owner in Delhi’s Prem Nagar.
Being a resident of Delhi, gang members were very aware of the district areas in Delhi-NCR.Police said that the gang had more than 55 cases of winning chains and protracted-loot among them at various police stations Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida.
The gang was led by Manoj aka Aslam.
More than 25 cases include seizing, spoils and weapons actions have been submitted to Him in several police stations.
