TIRUNELVELI: Tamil Nadu IT Union T Mano Thangaraj has stated attempts have been used to revitalise the ELCOT IT Park in Gangaikondan at Tirunelveli district.

After scrutinizing the IT park on Monday evening, the ministry said there are just two businesses in the 500 acres SEZ.
Chief Union M Stalin had worried on bringing more IT firms to the ELCOT IT Park to supply projects to educated youth in the southern area, ” he explained.
“We’ve taken efforts to bring IT firms here by minding the standards and providing them the essential infrastructure.
There are lots of educated rural youths from the area.
These youths are utilized in cities because of lack of chances in the southern area,” he explained.
IT-based ability development will be given to the youth to create them prepared as a employable manpower from the Gangaikondan IT park,” he explained.
Priority could be given to hire youth from Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Tuticorin, Kanyakumari and Virudhunagar districts at the IT park,” he explained.
“Steps have been taken to supply jobs to youth that dropped their IT occupations throughout the ordeal,” he further added.
Tirunelveli district collector Vishnu, MP S Gnanathiraviam, officials in the IT SEZ and agents of IT firms were current in case the minister inspected the premises.
