Gangasagar pilgrims exceed the number of locals in Covid Safe Homes

Kolkata: Devendra Prasad Kewat, a retired Central Government employee, has begun his journey for Gangasagar a week ago from Gorakhpur (above) along with two other relatives with a rented bus.

Kewat underwent a mandatory and positive fast test for Covid.
The relationship is also positive.
The three were sent to the safe Covid Covid Kolkata Corporation house in a commercial building located close to Science City.
The three woke up early on Friday morning and had to settle for witnessing the holy sauce in the gangasagar by worshipers sitting in a safe house directly on their cellphone.

Citizenship officials said they received requests from pilgrims for the initial release to be able to participate in the Sankranti Makar Festival in Gangasagar.
“But we follow the government’s rules and can not do anything.
Now we will release some of them from Sunday and so on,” the official said.
