Bhubaneswar: forty years after he left the house after the birth of a dead baby, Simanchal Rana (76) was reunited with his family in Ganjam Regency on Friday, thanks to Indian Cares’s efforts, an online platform that helped people in trouble.
“My younger brother left home 40 years ago.
He was a broken man after the birth of a birth baby born.
Then, his wife also left our house and began living with his parents.
Since then we have been looking for shutter, but Not successful, “said Elder Brother Brundaban, a priest at a temple in Sahadeb Tikarapada, below the boundary of the police station in the district of Ganjam.
Because of his age, the shutter could not recall how he reached Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh and where he had years.
Sanjay Singh Shinde, a social worker in Burhanpur, has found a shutter on the path.
Over the past two years Shinde has provided food and residence for the shutter.
Shinde took the help of social media and distributed photos and videos between his friend’s circle.
Shinde has difficulty understanding the language and shutter accents.
He could only know that the shutter came from Ganjam.
Recently, India cares for volunteers and cuttack-based entrepreneurs, Kamal Rathi knows about Shinde’s search for the shutter family.
“I got a call from a friend in Madhya Pradesh.
He wanted to reunite this old man with his family, but did not have the details of his contact.
What he knew was that the man came from the Ganjam district.
I contacted the IPS Officer Arun Bothra, who contacted Ganjam SP Brijesh Rai and get the man’s contact details, “Rathi said.
Rana’s nephew Dhruba Charan along with a friend went to Burhanpur last week and took home shutter.
