Ludhiana: To keep checking about dumping and separation waste, the Civic body is ready to install CCTV cameras at the secondary garbage collection point in the entire city.
This CCTV camera will be associated with integrated command and control centers, and officials will be able to store tabs on garbage collection and separation while sitting in the command unit & control.
A recent survey was conducted at all secondary garbage collection points, and the list was ready where this camera would be installed.
The idea is to keep a check at all the points of garbage collection because the separation in the dump remains a big question mark.
Officials have claimed that they have directed garbage collectors to carry separate waste at secondary points, but because the processing of waste does not occur today in the main dump or even at the point of collecting secondary waste, waste disposed of in non non-non.
Format -Kegregation.
During previous visits by members of the National Green Court Monitoring Committee also, the problem of waste that was not separate in the main dump highlighted and the official must bear the burden.
One official claims that in the next few months, static compactors will include secondary garbage collection points and when CCTV cameras will be installed, it will be easy to oversee ongoing activities in dumps.
Static compactors will help keep waste in separate form and in the case of waste collectors do not follow instructions, they will be arrested on the camera.
A senior MC official, confirming moving, said, “We have conducted a very short survey and camera will be installed at the point of garbage collection.
Monitoring will be through ICCCC.” In particular, this city produces 1100 tons of garbage every day and MC.
Officials in the document have claimed that they did a 50 percent waste separation but actually separation did not occur from households and even in dumps.
In the main trash can on Jalan Tajpur too, rubbish stacked like before.
86 cameras will be installed in the trash in the book market, Field Ganj, Backside Dental College, Khwaja Kothi Chowk, near Petrol Pump in Salem Tabri, Duke Point in GT Road, Charan Hosiy, Bridge Bridge Bajwa Nagar, GehLewal, Green Belt Salem Tabri, Transport Nagar, Scooter Market, Dugri Compactor, Feroze Gandhi Market etc.
