Garbage to remove from the airport area in Patna

Patna: In an effort to prevent bird strikes and overall hygiene at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport here, the department concerned has been ordered to ensure monitoring of garbage disposal regularly in the critical fields, especially in the approach and zone of the airport take-off.
Instructions were given at the Meeting of the Air Environmental Management Committee (AEMC) chaired by the commissioner of the Division of Patna Sanjay Kumar Agarwal.
Another problem, including the ongoing development work at the airport was also discussed at the meeting.
Bhupesh Ch Negi Airport Director made a presentation on security and extensions working at the airport.
Information is also distributed in connection with the removal status of waste, trimming trees and flocking birds around the airport.
Agarwal asked the officials concerned to ensure the CCTV function Cameras and instruct Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) to ensure the removal of garbage on time in and around the airport.
Commissioner of the City and Executive Officer PMC Phulwarisharif was asked to prepare a work plan and carry out the work of waste removal by setting a list of listings to their sanitation staff.
New instructions are issued to eliminate chicken and goat stores from the airport area.
SDO and DSP from the area must make a spot inspection together and remove the meat shop at any cost.
The meat and chicken shop attracts birds looking for food, which in turn can cause bird strike incidents.
Instructions are also issued for PMC to look into the threat of wild dogs near the airport.
The Patna Division Forest Officer was asked to coordinate with Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park (Patna Zoo) Director for trimming trees.
Trees in the southeastern corner of the zoo and side by side are required to be trimmed at regular intervals to avoid obstacles in the aircraft approach the aircraft when landing and take off.
The relevant official was also asked to remove encroachment near the entrance and airport boundary wall.
With regard to Covid prevention steps, the Division Commissioner requested an airport official to ensure that passengers throw their PPE kit in the Biowaste trash in the terminal building and in the parking lot.
Thermal playback and Covid testing passengers will continue to avoid the spread of the virus.
