Gurugram: Development of Overbridge Train (Rob) in the Delhi-Rewari Line near Garhi Harsaru Village is likely to be completed for the next three months and opened to the public in February next year, the state roads Haryana and Brides Development Corporation (HSRDC) and said North Railway.
The work of Rob Four lines has begun in December 2018, but the authorities give the initial time limit of 2020.
Two waves of the Coronavirus pandemic and lacks related to workers and oxygen, in addition to encroachment, have delayed the RS 33.41-Crore project, officials said.
A senior HSRDC official said the train was responsible for building parts of Overbridge through the trek while the remaining utility and road-side services were managed by the corporation.
“There are some delays in the portion we wake up because of encroachment in the area where the utility, such as waterways and services, must be built.
The problem is in court and will be heard in November,” the official said, adding that the pandemic also slowed down That progress.
“Ninety percent of the work on Rob under HSRDC has been completed.
We hope to complete the remaining 10% next month.

According to sources, the portion of Garhi Harsaru Rob is being built by the train is a bow bridge and requires oxygen for welding.
“The part of Rob developed by the train approaches the completion and we hope to finish it in November so that Rob can open next month itself,” said an official.
Sources, however, stated that work on the train part of Overbridge could take place until mid-January.
