Letter: The owner of the garment stitching unit who lives in the Mota Varachha region allegedly ended his life on Tuesday because he suffered financial losses.
The deceased Paresh Viradiya (42) was found depending on the unit on Jalan Sayan in Amroli on Tuesday afternoon by its employees.
Viradiya family members told the police that he seemed quite disturbed because his business was almost closed and he was burdened with increasing debt.
“The man suffered losses in business and he had to repay the loan he had taken to build his house.
Because he did not have enough money, he took extreme steps,” said Sub-Inspector M g Rathod from the Amroli police station.
Viradiya, native residents of Bhavnagar, have a wife and two sons, police said.
The case of unintentional death was registered at the Amroli Police Station.
