Garment unit owner, lover ends life by consuming poisons

Coimbatore: The owner of the vest manufacturing unit in Tirupur and his lover committed suicide by consuming poisons in the establishment of his business in Neruperichal near Anupparpalalayam on Friday morning.
The police identified the deceased when 39 years old 39 years old, from Balan Nagar in Neruperichal, and 30 years old Nirosha, Theni Regency.
An investigative officer said Prem, who was not married, was in a rented house with his mother.
Nirosha, he said, was also in a rented house with her husband and two children.
“He worked as a tailor in a plum vest unit.
Both of them fell in love and developed illegal relations.
When the two family members learned about the relationship, they advised them against the same continued.” Meanwhile, the duo consumed poison in the vest manufacturing unit on Thursday night.
“Nirosha had told her husband that he had a night shift.
The unit workers saw the bodies when they came to work on Friday morning and told us,” the officer said.
The bodies were sent to the Tirupur government hospital and were handed over to families who died after the autopsy later that day.
Police AnupParpalayam has registered a further case and investigation.
