KALYAN: A day following the petrol leakage episode reported by a chemical factory in Shirgaon MIDC at Badlapur, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on Friday issued final note to the corporation.
The episode created panic in the region but no one was reported hurt.
But, locals at the area of 2km complained of breathing issues and irritation in mind.
The incident happened on Thursday in 10.22pm in Nobel Intermediates Pvt Ltd business.
The fire brigade official said petrol leakage caused because of a chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and benzyl acid at the plantlife.
Fire brigade officials stated after obtaining advice they hurried at controlled and location regeneration by 11.24pm and also introduced situation in check.
Afterwards, MPCB officials detected with the Nobel Intermediates Pvt Ltd business to discover reason for gas flow incident.
