Chennai: BJP President Tamil Nadu Unit K Annamalai on Thursday demanded an investigation by the National Investigation Agency (Nia) to “a bigger conspiracy behind” a gasoline bomb that sprayed the incident at the party’s head office – Kamalalayam – in Chennai.
He alleged that the Wing of the State Intelligence, who reported to the Minister of Tamil Nadu, has made use of his telephone calls illegally.
“Wing Intelligence TN has carried out illegal supervision to me,” said Annamalai and added that there was a need to investigate the high-level committees monitored by the High Court into illegal supervision and telephone tapping.
He said the accusation was based on data driven by solid evidence.
The state police subdued a man, who was identified as Vinod Kumar, because he threw a gasoline bomb (bottle of liquor filled with gasoline) at the BJP headquarters at Chennai’s T Nagar.
Annamalai was nicknamed the incidence of gasoline bombs that slid as “signs of a decrease in law and order in the state.” Firmly rejected the report that the person accused of using a gasoline bomb to register his protest against Neet, Annamalai said, “There will be thousands of miles between the defendants and education.
Doubt whether he knows what the neet is.
Why did the state police enter conclusions based on the statement of the person who Accused of? That too, before submitting the first information report (FIR).
“” In the last few days, there was an attack on the BJP office and the office carrier in the state, “he said.
“We have taken this problem with national leadership notices and they expressed concern,” said the former IPS officer while responding to the question whether they had communicated with the national leader, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah.
He said the country slipped into the “National Police State” because the intelligence wing dominated the State Police Department.
Agency has played a role in the case of Ariyalur students and misinterpreted the district supervisor, he said, added, “law and order has deteriorated in the past eight months.” He accused the government of TN lowering his security from the ‘Y’ category to ‘X’.
Annamalai said the government had lowered security arrangements for the party office and its residence.
“We are not afraid of such incidents (bombs deploying incidents and decreasing security settings),” he said.
