Gasoline bomb thrown into a textile store, probe

Coimbatore: Unknown people have thrown gasoline bombs at a textile shop in Kovilpalayam on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night, triggering panic in the area.
Police Kovilpalayam said the store was run by V Sunitha, residents of Ganapathy in the city.
A police officer said the son of Sunitha Amarnath was accused of the murder case reported at Gandhi Maa Nagar recently.
“He is part of the gang that killed K Ashok Kumar for previous hostilities last week.
We suspect Kumar’s friends will throw raw bombs in the store to threaten their family members.” The officer said the CCTV camera in the area had caught the record of two men borne by The bike throws a gasoline bomb in the store and speeds up.
