Gasoline bomb thrown into Meghalaya cm house

Shillong: In the midst of violence in Shillong for a former militant police shot, some unknown criminals on Sunday night waved the gasoline bomb at the head of Meghalaya Minister Conrad K Sangma.
The incident occurred at around 10:15 a.m.
when the attacker was transmitted by a vehicle lobbied two bottles of Molotov cocktails at his private residence at miles up in Shillong above.
No one was injured in the incident, according to a senior district police officer.
The first lobbed bottle on the front of the house while the second was thrown behind the backyard, he said, pushing the guard there to extinguish the fire immediately.
The state government has imposed a curfew in Shillong and prohibits cellular internet services at least four districts as Vandalism and Arson rocked the country’s and the closest state of the day of independence.
The Minister of Home Affairs of Lahkmen Rymbui resigned in the midst of violence in Shillong for the shooting of the police.
Rymbui also urged CM to institutionalize the judicial investigation into the shooting of Cheristerfield Thangkhiew, his own-style secretary from the National Liberation Council Hynniewtrep who had surrendered.
Thangkhiew, who surrendered in 2018, was shot dead on August 13 when he was suspected of trying to attack the police team with a knife during the attack at his home in connection with a series of IED explosions in the state.
