Patna: The Government of Kumar Nithish in Bihar on Thursday reduced the level of VAT on gasoline and diesel with more than Rs 3 per liter, a day after the Customs Center cut products in an effort to provide assistance to consumers.
Announcement for this effect was made by the minister’s chairman in his Twitter handle.
“Following the movement of the center to reduce the price of gasoline and diesel, the state government has decided to provide additional assistance to people by reducing VAT tariffs.
Gasoline prices will be reduced further by Rs 3.20 per liter while the diesel will be rs 3.90 Per liter, “Kumar tweeted.
The center has, on Wednesday, making gasoline and diesel cheaper each of Rs 5 and Rs 10 per liter, a step that has raised the same response as many countries, mostly ruled by the BJP LED NDA.
