New Delhi: The day after keeping the price of gasoline and diesel has not changed, oil marketing company (OMC) on Tuesday reduces fuel prices more in line with global oil movements and product prices.
Thus, the price of gasoline and diesel pumps is cut 15 Paise per liter to rs 101.49 per liter and Rs 88.92 per liter in Delhi.
Also throughout the country the price of fuel is cut between 10-20 Paise per liter but the retail rate varies depending on the local tax rate in the state.
Gasoline prices in Mumbai and Kolkata, now at Rs 107.53 and Rs 101.82 per liter while in Chennai, gasoline is given a price of Rs 99.20.
In Tamil Nadu, the price of gasoline fell by almost Rs 3 per liter on August 14 after the state government cut PPN on fuel.
Likewise, the price of diesel in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata are now at Rs 96.48, Rs 93.52 and Rs 91.98 per liter, respectively.
The price of this fuel has come in the midst of a decline in global crude oil prices.
The October contract of Brent crude in Exchange Intercontinental (ICE) traded at $ 65.18.
The price of automatic fuel pumps has been static since July 18.
Long price pauses for automatic fuel after fuel prices increased for 41 days in the current financial year.
41 Increases have taken gasoline prices of 11.44 per liter in Delhi.
Similarly, the diesel level increased by Rs 8.74 per liter in the national capital.
