New Delhi: The price of gasoline and diesel on Thursday was carried out by 35 Paise every liter, the second day in a row increased which took the pump level throughout the country to record a high level.

This is the second day of price increases in a row.
There were no changes in the tariff on October 18 and 19, before the price was hiking with 35 Paise per liter each at four consecutive days.
While gasoline has reached an RS 100-a-liter or more in all major cities in the country, Diesel has touched that level in more than a dozen countries and stepping on the mark in places from Srinagar to Chennai.

The most expensive fuel is in the border city of Ganganagar in Rajasthan, where gasoline comes to Rs 118.59 per liter and diesel for Rs 109.41 per liter.
Since the end of the hiatus for three weeks in the revised tariff in the last week of September, this is the 18th increase in the price of gasoline and the 21st that the level of diesel rises.
Prices are different from the state to the state depending on local tax events.
The International Benchmark of Brent Crude on Thursday traded above USD 85 per barrel, USD 11 more than last month.

The surge in international oil prices ended the three-week hiatus in the rate revision on September 28 for gasoline and September 24 for Diesel.
Since then, the diesel level has increased by Rs 6.85 per liter and gasoline prices have increased by Rs 5.35 per liter.
Previously, gasoline prices increased by Rs 11.44 per liter between May 4 and May 17.
The diesel level has increased by Rs 9.14 per liter during this period.
