New Delhi: Prices of gasoline and diesel hiking for sixth day in a row throughout the country on Monday.
In the national capital, with a 35 paise increase per liter, gasoline prices rose to Rs 109.69 per liter while diesel prices increased with the same amount as the cost of Rs 98.42.
In Mumbai, the price of gasoline and diesel increased to Rs 115.50 and Rs 106.62 per liter.
As for Kolkata, gasoline costs Rs 110.35 per liter and the cost of diesel rs 101.56 per liter while gasoline and diesel each of Rs 106.35 and Rs 102.59 per liter in Chennai.
Meanwhile, the central government is in talks with several oil exporter countries about the issue of supply and oil demand but there is no possibility of immediate assistance.
Previously, a source told Ani that the ministry of Petroleum and Gas recently raised concerns about pricing issues, supply and oil demand to major oil-producing countries.
“Because crude oil prices rose internationally, the Ministry of Petroleum called the Ministry of Energy from many countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Russia and others,” the source said.
