LONDON: When Richard Gasquet won the Wimbledon first round match against Yuichi Sugita, the Frenchman killed two birds with one stone – he got a clash with eight-time champion Roger Federer and the match at the center of the Hallowed Central Court.
“When I was in the first half, I saw a draw.
I know I can play Roger in the second half,” Gasquet said to the ATP tourist website before the second round match Thursday.
“Of course, this is amazing for me, because I will play in the central court.
