Gates locked, worked inhibition: noida officials

Noida: The traffic movement around the Noida Authority Office and working in it had been affected for the past few days as a group of farmers under Panji Parishad Bharatiya Kisan had locked five of the six gates to the building.
While one of the gates for visitors, the other is for employees.
These farmers have protested outside the office for the past three and a half months, but only a few weeks since they intensify their agitation after the movement throughout the year around the Delhi border ended with three laws drawn.
About 10 farmers, led by Sukhbir Khalifa, have started a hunger strike from Monday.
Attar Singh, one of the protesters, said he had a breathing problem on Tuesday night, while others faced a similar problem.
The protesters, from 81 villages, have demanded 64.7% compensation for their land and that there were no fees taken from them for commercial activities on the eternal plot, among others.
They also want them to be benefited from 10% plot.
Sunil Chauhan, a protester from Shahpur Village, said their main demand was the benefit of a 10% plot and they wanted problems to be discussed at the board meeting.
The CEO of the Noida Authority Ritu Maheshwari said demand for demonstrators for 10% plots were invalid.
“Demand for 10% plot or compensation as the same substitute cannot be negotiated.
We provide 5% plot or compensation as a substitute approved by the court.
Their request of 10% plot can require total costs around RS.
6,000-7,000 Crore.
This cannot negotiated.
Protesters have now increased another edition of commercial activities in the eternal land.
However, this problem is made and there is no real bone.
When farmers are told that they are charged in addition to anything for that Same, they retreat, “he said.
Maheshwari added that repeated protests were work baskets.
