Orders also apply to teachers whose contract period applies outside June 30.
University sources say the contract teacher is around 20% of the total strength of the Faculty of State University.
Communication and journalism, environmental science, integrated trade, five-year LLB are among the departments that will be the worst managed by the policy.

Gu Vice-Chancellor PJ Handlique said he faced criticism from Chancellor because it involved a contract teacher.
“Chancellor argues that the contract teacher has reduced the quality of education at the university,” said Handique, expressed the helplessness of the direction from the highest authority of the State University.
Gu Administration has two rounds of talks on Sundays with the Gaahati University teacher association and with senior officials to solve problems that might have serious implications for the academic atmosphere.
A person in the university told TII that reminders were removed from the governor’s house for the past three years.
“There might be suspicion that the contract teacher is involved without a transparent recruitment process and becomes a regular teacher later,” said the source.
“There are several departments where around 50% of faculty members work on a contract.
Students from these departments will suffer greatly, if the middle lane does not evolve,” added the source.
Several heads of departments were called for meetings on Sunday night because it ended the contract teacher service would be very about the class and interest in the students.
“The interest of students has become a top priority.
Who will do classes, if we stop a large number of faculty members from conducting classes,” said the official, adding that this step could be aimed at attracting more faculty of guests who are currently working at the college high.
GU graduate student union loudly criticized the direction, saying that it threatened the career prospects of students.
“Until the university authority completes the promise of meeting in an empty post and creates new teacher posts wherever it is needed, the contract teacher must be allowed to work in their position,” said President of PGSU, Urah Uddipta Borah and Secretary General of Parshwa Patgiri said in a statement.
They say inhumane to eliminate teachers from work, which provide sincere services to the university during a pandemic.
They said through a contractual teacher, many departments were able to maintain the ratios of teachers for years.
