Gaza City: An explosion ripped a house in the popular market in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing one person and injuring 10, the Palestinian Interior Ministry said.
Not immediately clear what caused an explosion.
The explosion in the al-Zawiya area collapsed most of the houses and dozens of damaged buildings and shops nearby, according to the statement.
The explosive technical team is being investigated; The civil defense team and the police were able to control the next fire.
The explosion shook the environment on the third day of Eid al-Adha, a Muslim holiday.
