Jaipur: Chief of Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Thursday inaugurated and placed the foundation stone from projects worth around RS 275 Crore on Bartmer and seeking central help for the oil refinery project there.
Overcoming an event, Gehlot said his government never stopped the development of the previous regime and they would work with the country’s development center.
He appealed to the cooperation center needed in establishing an oil refinery in Barmer, according to a statement.
Gehlot also thanked the center to give approval to open a millet research center in Barmer.
The minister’s chairman said the state government had given land to 1,022 families, ending the waited 15 years of refugees, which was attached to homelessness during severe floods in Barmer in 2006.
The minister’s chairman said earlier that no one imagined that a refinery and the power of plants could be established in the desert Thar but now it has come true.
