United Kingdom, USA, China, Australia and Canada have announced a contingent with a much higher representation of women.
Russia, which will enter the game that represents the Russian Olympic Committee and uses the ROC acronym, also sends more women than men.
Russia must use ROC because it is prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) of all international sports for four years in 2019.

The United States sent a team consisting of 613 athletes.
It will have 329 women and 284 men in their ranks.
United Kingdom, the British Olympic Association (BoA) team representing Britain, will be represented by 376 athletes, where 201 is a woman.
Canada sent a total of 370 athletes, where 225 were women and 145 men.
Australian numbers are also on similar lines.
Of the 471 athletes who will participate in the Olympics, 252 are women and 219 men.
A total of 329 Russian athletes under ROC banners participated in the game and 183 of them were women, while 146 were male athletes.
Because of the prohibition of Wada, the total number of Russies in terms of representation is relatively lower than the game held in the past.
The United States, China, Britain, England and Russia have a history of dominating the Olympics in the past.
Back on this year’s International Women’s Day, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that the Tokyo Olympics will be the first ‘balanced gender’ game, with a total athlete consisting of 49% of women and 51% of men.
“The IOC Executive Board also decided that there must be – for the first time – at least one woman and one athlete in every 206 teams and the IOC refugee Olympic team participated in the National Olympics.
The National Olympic Committee of the Countries must nominate a woman and male athletes together -Imama bear their flag during the opening ceremony.

India, meanwhile, sending 127 athletes including all reserves, with a total of 71 men and 56 women.
For the host Japan, 552 athletes will take part of where 293 is men and 259 are women.
