New Delhi: The United States Embassy here has expanded the “deepest condolence” on the first Death India Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, along with his wife and 11 in the tragic helicopter accident in Tamil Nadu.

And 11 other people at the Indian Air Force Helicopter Council died in an accident near the coonor in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
The US Embassy said that when the Head of India’s Indian Defense Staff, General was treated to study the historical period of transformation in the Indian military.
“He is a strong friend and partner of the United States, overseeing the great expansion of Indian defense cooperation with the US military,” read the release of the embassy.
The embassy remembered the last five-day visit in September, when he traveled throughout the United States as part of a partner visit with General Mark Milley to discuss the development and military opportunities to improve “our cooperation with the same-minded countries”.
“His legacy will continue.
Our minds with Indians and the Indian military, and we pray for the full recovery of Captain Varun Singh,” he added.
The captain of the Singh Group, who is also in a helicopter, is currently under treatment at a military hospital in Wellington.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also stated “deep condolences about the death of Indian defense staff, General Rawat, his wife, and colleagues who perished in a tragic accident today”.
“We will remember the general treat as an extraordinary leader who serves his country and contributes to A.-India’s defense relationship,” he tweeted.
