Generation of e-Way bills are blocked for non-filer GST returns

New Delhi: Taxpayers who have not submitted a Return of GST for two months or the quarter until June 2021 will not be able to produce e-way bills from August 15, the word GST Network.
That step, the expert said, will help increase the collection of goods and services taxes in August because the delay of GST return is expected to be submitted.
The Customary Council of Taxes and Customs (CBIC) had previously suspended the blocking of the electronics (e-way) generation of bills for non-singer returns GST, to provide release of taxpayers compliance during the Covid pandemic.
In an advisor on August 4 for taxpayers, GSTN said, “The government has now decided to continue the blocking of the EWB (EWAY Bill) facility on the EWB portal, for all taxpayers …
from August 15 and so on”.
So, after August 15, 2021, the system will check the return status submitted in the GSTR-3B form or the statement submitted in the CMP-08 GST form (for the composition of the Taxpayer Return Return Quarterly) and limit the EWB generation in the non-filter case, it was added .
Every taxpayer has not submitted two refunds or more at GSTR-3B until June 2021, or has not submitted 2 or more statements at GST CMP-08 for the quarter to April to June 2021, will not be able to produce an eWay bill after August 15.
“To take advantage of the Face of the EWB generation continuously on the EWB portal, you are advised to re-submit the Pending GRSR 3B / CMP-08 statement immediately,” said GSTN, which handles the backbone of GST technology.
Mitra AMRG & Associates Senior Rajat Mohan said GSTN had changed the heat back on all GST refunds and blocking the generation of eWay bills would bring many businesses to traffic jams.
This automatic penalty will also lead to augmentation in the tax collection for August, added Mohan.
