At the request of the Georgian government, the heritage was sent for the exhibition in 2017, and then returned to India.
Ketevan, which was disabled and respected as sacred in the East Orthodox Church, was considered a martyr in his home, and Georgians had anticipated the arrival of his relics.
They now reached Georgia more than four centuries after they were hidden and transported – from Iran, where he was killed, by Friars Augustinian – to Old Goa, and was placed in Sarcophagus (stone coffin) in Old Goa.
The excavation of breast milk in the complex takes place for a decade.
When contacted, the former director of ASI N Taher, who led the team that revealed the relics at the time, said it was various kinds of saints.
