BERLIN: Germany’s antitrust watchdog said on Monday it had started an investigation into if Apple was harnessing its market dominance, after similar event in to US tech competitions Facebook, Amazon and Google.
According to fresh competition law principles specifically meant for big digital businesses, Germany’s Federal Cartel Office (FCO) said it could evaluate whether Apple includes a”paramount importance across markets” at a very first step.
