Berlin: Germany plans to introduce the neglect of archiving bankruptcy for the expected flood business, the Ministry of Justice said on Wednesday.
Parliament must approve the neglect, which ends at the end of October, in voting.
“We must prevent situations where businesses must submit bankruptcy only because they cannot access financial assistance in time,” said Minister of Justice, Christine Lambrecht, in a statement.
German finance minister, Olaf Scholz, said on Tuesday that rebuilding would cost more than 6 billion euros.
He spoke during a visit to one of the city affected by the flood, which killed at least 180 people and was the most powerful in more than 60 years.
Germany introduced a similar neglect of last year to prevent the maintenance wave produced from locking applied to contain Coronavirus novels.
