Germany will decide on the restrictions on post-Christmas Covid-19

Berlin: German leaders will decide on new restrictions to come after Christmas aims to slow down the spread of the new Covid-19 Omicron variant, but the plan so far falls short of full locking.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz and 16 Governors of Germany planned to consult later on Tuesday after the government’s new expert panel called for action to be taken in a few days and said that national steps were needed, “especially the restrictions on good planned and well communicated contacts.” Officials say that nightclubs are likely to be closed regardless of the level of local infection, where closure is currently dependent.
There may be further limitations in the crowd on major events, while new contact restrictions are expected to be introduced for people who are vaccinated – with the meeting reported to be limited to 10 people.
Restrictions have been at the target place, especially those who do not divinate, with evidence of vaccination or recovery needed to enter stores that are not important among other things.
The authorities have rushed to accelerate the Booster campaign, with an average of about one million vaccine shots provided per day during the past week, the highest pandemic rate so far.
But they remained dissatisfied with the number of people who were vaccinated in the first place – the proportion of the population who had received the first round of vaccines established at 70.3%, a short minimum of 75% aimed at by the government.
German infection rate, for now, floated down slowly.
On Tuesday, the National Disease Control Center recorded 306.4 new cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, down from 375 per week earlier, with 23,428 cases reported for the last 24 hours.
However, Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has warned that Germany faces “great fifth wave” because Omicron, which he thinks cannot be realistically prevented.
All the same, he said on Sunday that there would be no kuncian before Christmas.
Disease Control Center, Robert Koch Institute, said on Monday that people who have recovered or have a full first round of vaccines now face the risk of “high” infection, while “moderate” for those who have received a booster.
It is said that the risk is “very high” for those who are not vaccinated.
