Noida: In the midst of increasing concern over the omicron variant, the police in Noida have instructed their personnel to make everyone in their families fully vaccinated and maintain the appropriate behavior of Covid when they come out in public places.
Police forces were also asked to increase actions against anyone found violating the Covid protocol.
“Maintaining the severity of infection in mind, we have asked forces to be careful.
They have been told to wear a mask, maintain cleanliness and use sanitaryers regularly.
The police station has also been told to ensure no crowding,” said Elamaran G, additional DCP ( Middle noida).
It is very important for the police to maintain infection in the bay.
If there is another surge in the number of cases, the police need to use their personnel in the detention zone and to enforce government guidelines about the movement of people, if any.
The source said the order by the Deputy Commissioner of the Additional Police (law and command) Shraddha Pandey was issued by considering the situation before the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“We have encouraged public time and again to follow all the guidelines associated with Covid.
Our strength continues to be in charge of ensuring that the appropriate behavior of Covid is not violated,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ranvijay Singh.
Earlier this month, police in Noida have extended until December 31 to impose prohibited orders under Section 144.
