New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday instructed officials to work with the United States and ensure that the swing swing oxygen generator 1,500 (PSA) was made functional throughout the country earliest.

Modi also suggested the use of advanced technology such as IoT to track the performance and function of this oxygen plant at the local and national level.
A pilot has been done, using IoT, to monitor the performance of oxygen plants.
Trade and Minister of Industry Piyush Goyal said in a tweet, “hold a review of the group that is empowered and various liquid oxygen producers in the country to discuss how to increase oxygen capacity and create health infrastructure that is ready in the future.” As reported by TOI on Friday, the secretary group empowered by the Transportation Secretary and DPIIT Giridhar Aramane was looking at a series of steps, including IT-based management systems, the creation of war space and oxygen audit system to be added to other steps to make storage capacity production.
While the storage hub is planned throughout the state, there is a proposal to establish production facilities around major cities such as Delhi and Mumbai to meet almost half their oxygen requirements.
