Mumbai: BJP Legislator Maharashtra Ashish Shelar on Wednesday demanded the CBI investigation into the alleged involvement of Sena leaders and the Minister of State Anil Pariab in the arrest of the Union Minister Narayan Rane.
Shelar made a request while talking to reporters here.
Rane was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for his words made during the ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ from his party the previous day that he would slap Uddhav Thackeray for the last “ignorance” of Indian Independence Year.
“BJP demanded the CBI investigation into the alleged involvement of the Minister of Transportation of Anil Puriab’s state in Arrest Rane when Sena’s leader sounded told someone that a bail application would be rejected.
All telephone calls made by Parab and IPS officials involved in that matter must be examined, “He said.
“There is a parab video clip talking to someone on Tuesday at around 1 noon on the phone that informed that the court session would reject the plea guarantee Rane.
This application was rejected at around 4 pm, but Parab had told the person on the other side before it.
Suspicious and raise questions for the intention of the country, “he said.
Video clips come from the Ratnagiri District Planning and Development Board Meeting (DPDC) chaired by Puriab, which is Minister Guardian, Shelar added.
“Puriab’s actions are an insult to state justice and the act of suppressing IPS officials …” he said.
