KABUL: Taliban has warned the international community, saying that the world must recognize the clothes if they do not want to receive threats from Afghanistan.
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said that they must be recognized as a responsible party, Khaama’s press news agency reported.
Two months have passed since the clothes took over Afghanistan.
In addition to a handful of countries including Pakistan and China, there is no other country that shows the keenness to increase involvement with the Taliban.
The rest of the international community observes the situation of the rights in the country and is focused on limiting the humanitarian crisis in the country.
In a statement that emerged as a possible warning, Mujahid stated that the Taliban would not take responsibility for preventing threats to other countries and unless they were recognized by the international community.
He added that recognition was bilateral needs.
“We were against the US because they did not recognize us in the past.
If the Taliban is not recognized, it will only increase problems in Afghanistan, region and the world,” Mujahid said.
He further claimed that the Taliban had completed all their prerequisites for recognition and the world would recognize it “one direction or another.” Mujahid also asked all countries to activate their diplomatic missions in Afghanistan.
Amid the question of the recognition of the Islamic Emirates, Taliban diplomats have begun working in the Afghan mission in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the European Union also tried to reopen his diplomatic mission in Afghanistan in months because blocks wanted to increase his involvement with the new Taliban government.
