Varanasi: Now, one can be trained in making a ‘upala’ (cow dung cake) from the highly qualified faculty at the Hindu University of Banaras.
Recently, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof.
Kaushal Kishor Mishra showed the ‘technique’ of making cow dung cake at the Bhu Integrated Rural Development Center.
He made cow dung cakes and also involved students in this effort.
Bhu authorities also share photos of the training program.
In a press statement, he said that this cow cake waste can be used to do Havan, Puja and as fuel to cook food.
It will also help in increasing farmers’ income.
Students who are trained will visit villages and training giving villagers to make cow dung cake.
He also urged the central government to provide financial assistance to farmers to raise cows breeding and making customary arrangements for marketing cattle-based products.
The center was charged Dr.
Alok Kumar Pandey was told about the dean of cow-based products prepared by students.
Dean directed him to form a startup company to market this product for additional productive.
