Turugram: The Gurugram Industry Association has challenged the Punjab-Haryana High Court for the provision of a 75 percent mandatory reservation for locals in private sector jobs in Haryana.
The applicant told the high court that in the private sector, people were chosen based on achievement and skills.
How can the industry move forward if the right to choose employees is taken from the employer? Haryana’s government’s decision of 75 percent of reservations was unfair to have appropriate people.
This law violates the constitutional rights of young people who are free to work in any part of India based on their education and qualifications.
The applicant said the law was an effort to introduce the practice of getting jobs in the private sector based on residence instead of qualification.
If this happens, the situation of chaos will appear in Haryana about work in the private sector.
This law will also inhibit the development of the private sector and because this industry can begin to migrate from the country.
In accordance with the applicant, the law is actually a violation of the rights of skilled youth.
The action was enacted on March 2, 2021, and notification on November 6, 2021, to order 75 percent of the work opposed the constitutional provisions.
